Background and qualifications
Lisa began as a middle school history teacher in Queens. In 2009 she founded the first Democracy Prep high school and served as principal. She later became Assistant Superintendent and launched a second high school in 2013. She built the Leader U training program for new principals. In 2018 she became Chief People Officer and took over Human Resources in 2020. She started Franca Consulting in 2022. She holds a BA from Amherst College and two M.Ed degrees.
