Gary uses a four-stage method that is diagnostic before prescriptive. The stages are Diagnose, Reframe, Build and a final check that the change has held. The first two sessions are a forensic read of the real situation, using evidence from the client and the people around them. Clients then make specific, accountable commitments between sessions. No framework is brought in before the situation is understood.
