Background and qualifications
Vladimir began in 1994 as a teaching assistant at the University of Novi Sad in Serbia, where he taught the basics of artificial intelligence. In 1999 he became a software engineer on the internationalization team at IBM and was promoted twice. He joined Google in 2006 and later worked there as a Senior Engineering Manager from January 2017 to October 2025. He has interviewed candidates for engineering and management roles since 2006. He has managed engineering teams and mentored dozens of engineers and managers.
