Scott worked in the Financial Management Development Program at GE Capital, then became an Associate in investment banking at Wells Fargo Securities. After 2.5 years as an Associate, Scott joined a private equity firm as a VP. Scott spent 20 years at Reynolda Equity Partners and became Managing Partner. In 2025 Scott became Senior Advisor there and started investing independently through 1780 Capital. At Reynolda Scott led recruiting and interviewed candidates. In investment banking Scott was on the recruiting team for HBS and other MBA programs.
