Along the way, you pick up new tools for situations that sensitive and neurodivergent people often face.

Background and qualifications

Lisa earned a Bachelor's degree in Family Social Services from Northern Illinois University in 1987. She then earned a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1991. She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and practiced in North Carolina and Texas for a combined 35 years. In January 2025, she launched Courage to Be Real Coaching, which serves clients across the United States. She is also trained through MentorCoach and identifies as a highly sensitive person.
