Background and qualifications
Kade studied Computer Science at Utah State University, after changing majors from Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Computer Engineering. He worked as an IT administrator for the university's Mathematics and Statistics Department from 2022 to 2025. He led the flight software team for the GASRATS cubesat mission. He interned at NASA JPL in 2023 and at BETA Technologies on flight software. He co-founded Raydoc, which builds tools for developers. He now builds the product at Zaymo as Founding Engineer.
