How Ian works
Ian's consulting recruiting curriculum starts with how case interviews are scored. It then covers initial structuring and hypothesis-led problem solving. His PEI and fit work goes past script polishing and looks at the cause when a candidate freezes up. His Georgetown training focuses on adult development, leadership presence, and listening for what a person avoids saying. In executive coaching, he works on both the numbers and what makes a decision hard.
Background and qualifications
Ian spent two years as a business innovation researcher in Clayton Christensen's office at Harvard Business School. He then worked at McKinsey with Fortune 500 executives. Next he became a Financial Performance Manager at Teamshares, where he managed P&L across 80+ companies and onboarded incoming CEOs at five acquired companies.
