- You are applying mainly to schools that admit most applicants. A strong counselor and a careful parent handle that well.
- You want someone to write or heavily rewrite essays. The IECA forbids its members from doing this, and it backfires.
- The cost would strain your family's budget. Free help exists: School counselors, college websites, and free essay workshops.
- A consultant promises admission. No one can promise that.
