Background and qualifications
Nick grew up in the Bay Area and studied design at UC Davis. He spent most of his 20s as an adventure travel guide, leading hiking and cycling trips and visiting all seven continents. In 2010 he became an ER nurse and served in Haiti after the earthquake and in a clinic in Tanzania. After 10 years in the ER, he worked in hospice and at San Quentin State Prison, then at a ketamine clinic. He completed CTI Life Coach training in 2017 and joined the CIIS Psychedelic Therapy and Research Program in 2020.
