Merrill started as an investment banking analyst in November 2017 and worked in that role until July 2020. Merrill then became an investment banking associate in healthcare at Jefferies. In January 2021, Merrill moved to G Square Healthcare Private Equity as an investment associate, and stayed until July 2022. From July 2022 to June 2024, Merrill held a Senior Associate (VP) role in tech and direct investing. Merrill now works as a Senior Associate at CPP Investments. Merrill holds a Bachelor's degree in Management from University College London, with First Class Honours in all three years.
