Dush Fernando is a leadership coach with more than 20 years of experience in technology and digital transformation. He joined Hutchison 3G, the world's first third-generation mobile phone company, while it was a startup. There he helped roll out a nationwide 3G network in three years. He later worked in Canada as an ITIL instructor and consultant for Fortune 500 companies. He holds a PhD, an MBA and an engineering degree, and has taught as an adjunct professor.

Background and qualifications
Dush left Sri Lanka at 18 to study in Cardiff, where he earned a four-year honors degree in engineering with a one-year industry placement at a semiconductor company. A scholarship then took him to Oxford for a PhD. He moved into industry at Hutchison 3G, where he joined when it was a startup and helped build the nationwide 3G network. In Canada he became an ITIL instructor and consultant for Fortune 500 companies. He also earned an MBA and has worked as a teaching assistant, instructor, adjunct professor and guest lecturer.
