Yvette started Students Organized for Success in 2002. Before that, she worked at the YMCA of San Joaquin County as a program director from 1982 to 1997. From 1993 to 1997 she also served as a Trainer of Trainers for the YMCA of the USA. From 1997 to 2003 she worked for the City of Lodi as the Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission liaison to the Lodi Unified School District, working with high school students.
