How Viran works

Viran follows International Coaching Federation principles. Viran asks questions to draw out insights and gives advice only when a client asks for it. Viran's style is solutions-focused, forward-facing and action-driven. Clients bring a topic to each session and leave with a decision or a committed action. Sessions run one hour online, once a month or more often if the client prefers. Viran does not sell long-term packages and uses no personality tests or spiritual tools.

Background and qualifications

Viran began a career teaching history in a London school through Teach First. Viran earned a PGCE and a Master's in Leadership at UCL Institute of Education, and was rated Outstanding by Ofsted. In 2014 Viran moved to Japan on a Daiwa Scholarship. Viran worked in strategic communications for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Committee and three global PR firms, reaching Vice President. Viran holds an MBA from Quantic, trained as a phone counsellor with TELL Japan, and is certified through the Coach Training Alliance.
