Shash Kala is a psychiatry resident at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital. Shash earned an MD from Yale School of Medicine, studying there from 2020 to 2025, and graduated with the Miriam Kathleen Dasey Award. From 2018 to 2020, Shash was one of three fellows in the Sara S. Sparrow Fellowship in Clinical Neuroscience at the Yale Child Study Center, researching autism using neuroimaging. That work led to four conference presentations and one published manuscript. Shash studied environmental studies with a Spanish minor at Dartmouth College.
