Background and qualifications
Pauli studied computer science and the humanities at Yale. There, Pauli did neural-network research published at NAACL 2018 and worked as a CS50 course assistant, holding office hours for over 100 beginners. Pauli then worked in venture capital, evaluating over 1,000 software startups and building AI automations that sped up screening 20×. At BCG, Pauli built analytical and automation solutions with Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Excel and PowerPoint. Most recently, Pauli led AI adoption at a 120-person education nonprofit, covering training, privacy policy and one-on-one coaching.
