Background and qualifications
Nico grew up learning to work hard and be independent. After university he did two years of compulsory military training in the South African army, where he became an officer. He later founded a software company and bootstrapped it to success. He implemented accounting systems for businesses of many sizes and learned how they work inside. At 40 he moved to Canada, rebuilt his career, and became a contract CEO. A client asked him to read Traction, and he moved into EOS work.
