Background and qualifications
Mike spent half his career at the Stanford GSB. He first attended as an MBA student. He later became Executive Director of the Center for Leadership Development and Research, Director of the Stanford MSx Program, and Director of Admissions. He helped oversee the launch of the MBA core leadership curriculum, including Leadership Labs, Arbuckle Leadership Fellows, and the GSB Executive Challenge. Outside admissions, he coached and led leadership programs for community leaders and CEOs, worked as a strategy consultant, co-founded a microbrewery, served in the Peace Corps, and advised startups as an angel investor.
