How Michael works
Michael uses a 4-pillar framework called Accept, Adapt, Rebuild and Live. Clients first name their baseline and points of overload. Then they move working memory into external physical systems, including the Adapting To guided journals. They build micro-habits in 30-day windows to restore routines. The last step sets pacing guardrails to protect energy and support independence.
Background and qualifications
Michael Foglietta survived a ruptured brain AVM. His daily routine disappeared, and he faced severe cognitive fatigue, memory loss and frustration. Forcing a standard 9-to-5 routine only led to burnout. He built Cognitive Autonomy Coaching from that experience. He is a peer recovery mentor and the author of the Adapting To guided journal series. He is not a doctor, psychologist or healthcare provider, and his coaching is non-clinical.
