How Keegan works

The GMC Method has five pillars: Plan, Training, Support, Collaboration and Community. Plan gives a clear roadmap with known pitfalls. Training pairs nutrition, sleep and physical work with mental work. Support adds two psychotherapists and a physiotherapist. Collaboration means working as partners. Community includes online groups, live calls and in-person events across the UK and North America.

Background and qualifications

Keegan Hirst is a former professional rugby league player. He was the first British rugby league player to come out as gay while still playing. After years of hiding and then years of healing, he built Gay Man's Coaching so other gay men would not have to work things out alone. It grew from a personal mission into a 10-person team of coaches, psychotherapists and a physiotherapist. He also founded The Unapologetic Man UK.
