Dr. Jennifer Stephan is a college counselor who helps students and families with college admissions, college success, and academic recovery. She has more than thirty years in higher education. She was Dean of Academic Advising and Undergraduate Studies for the School of Engineering at Tufts University for ten years. She drew on her time as a professor, dean, admissions committee member, academic advisor, and private college counselor to create it.
Background and qualifications
Jennifer has more than thirty years in higher education. She spent over two decades as a computer science professor and academic dean at Wellesley College, where she also served on the Board of Admissions. She then spent ten years as Dean of Academic Advising and Undergraduate Studies for the School of Engineering at Tufts University. She still teaches the Foundations for Engineering Success course she designed there. She holds a B.S. from Johns Hopkins University and an M.S. and Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University. She has contributed to U.S. News & World Report.
