Background and qualifications
Helen is a social entrepreneur with an interest in regeneration, systems thinking and purpose. In 2015 she started Spare Harvest, a social enterprise that connected neighbours to share spare food from their kitchens and gardens. It used the gift and sharing economies to build community resilience and reduce waste. While building it, she mentored and coached many emerging entrepreneurs. Spare Harvest was acquired in June 2021. After that, she started Priority Purpose.
