Tarek builds his coaching on the idea that performance equals potential minus interference, a model from Gallwey. Client and coach work together to find the interferences that stop the client from reaching their potential. Removing them is the client's task. He starts with a free 50 minute session with no commitment, where the client shares their story. He puts weight on a safe space and a deep working relationship.
Background and qualifications
Tarek began his career designing race cars for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and later moved into coaching. He holds a PhD in engineering, a master's in motorsports engineering and a postgraduate certificate in learning and teaching in higher education. He is a Senior Fellow of Advance He and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management. He completed the ILM Level 5 Diploma in Effective Coaching and Mentoring. He is an EMCC Global EIA accredited coach and mentor at Senior Practitioner level.
