Bill studied materials engineering at the University of Illinois. He worked in an R&D lab during school and directed a student-run corporation that won a Presidential award for community volunteerism. He then moved to Southern California for a career in aerospace manufacturing and materials research. After leading a product development team, he earned an MBA at the Merage School of Management in Irvine. His later roles covered aerospace and IT product management, rapid prototyping business development, entrepreneurship and consulting. He then joined Stacy Blackman Consulting and worked there for 17 years before joining Leland.
